Here's a pic of how to route the chain correctly on your Xcelerator. It takes a few turns of the chain so burn this diagram into memory so you don't have to run inside and look it up should the time come.

Seems much slower than we thought it would be....it is faster if you just use your foot on the ground like a regular scooter. Is there a way to make it speed up other than pumping faster?? My son is pumping fast and it is sort of whimpy! Did we do somthing wrong when we put it together?

This was a life saver! Thank you very much. My son says he was doing a wheelie when the chain popped off. Is that to be expected from that type of riding?

In less than a week after Christmas, the chain came off my son's kick n go. Why on earth wouldn't you include the chain diagram in the manual that came with it?

UNHOOKING CHAIN AT THE SPRING END AND RUNNING IT BETWEEN THE REAR SPROCKET AND THE GUIDE WHEEL MAKES REINSTALLING THE CHAIN A PIECE OF CAKE. AFTER RUNNING THE CHAIN BETWEEN THE REAR SPROCKET AND GUIDE WHEEL, JUST RUN IT BACK UP TO THE FRONT, AROUND THE SPRING PULLEY AND HOOK IT BACK TO THE FRAME AND YOU'RE BACK IN BUSINESS.
